RoyalStaffs Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Hi everyone, and thank you for visiting my site. I am Quintin Smith and RoyalStaffs is a small kennel that is presently located in Phoenix, Arizona. I became involved with staffies after a long search for my perfect dog. Staffies are medium sized compact dogs with short hair, average sized eaters, and are great with children, hence the nickname the "Nanny Dog." Staffies love attention and can be socialized with other pets if properly socialized early on. I hope you enjoy this site and feel free to contact me with any questions. I can be reached at 256.648.0373 or you can send me an email to royalstaffs@hotmail.com

Breeding Goals

Every breeder generally has some goals in mind when they begin to breed, whether it is to breed the perfect show dog, the most champions, or even to  become an ambassador for the breed, there is some reason behind beginning. I personally fell in love with the breed because of how affectionate they are to people. This dog has a past that most judge them by and assume that they are viscous animals that just attack everyone. I want to show everyone that thinks that way that this breed is the complete opposite of that. My goals are as follows.

1. To breed dogs that are mentally and physically sound.

2. To breed a dog that is true to its conformation.

3. To breed dogs with as gentle as a temper as possible. The history of the dog still plays a factor in the dogs that we know and love today and any breeder that is truly responsible is working day and night to erase the negatives that the general public has about our wonderful breed.

I am an ambassador to the breed. When the opportunity arises I always show how gentle natured the breed truly is. I am a very responsible owner. I understand my breeds strengths as well as thier weaknesses and handle them appropiately. Before you decide to get a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, you must ask yourself are you going to be responsible, strong, loving, and very passionate about this breed? Do your research and learn as much as you can. Go to dog shows and see them in person, make sure you have as much information as possible before you make your decision. Good luck to you all, and hopefully you will enjoy this breed as much as I am.
